Westwinds Bed & Breakfast

A detached house located on the hillside overlooking Mawgan Porth and the beach. 

Bed & Breakfast is from £18 per person (there are reductions for children under 12).  Breakfast is a traditional full English that won’t leave you feeling hungry.

We are approx. 200 yards from Mawgan Porth Beach and the Coastal Footpath. The beach is popular with families, patrolled by life-guards during the season and is renowned as a top surfing location.

 

 

 

We have 3 letting bedrooms all with sea views and 2 guest bathrooms. Bedrooms have tea & coffee making facilities and colour TVs. There is also a TV lounge available for use by guests. The house is in a quiet position away from traffic noise.

For leisure activities within walking distance there is:

2 miles at St Eval there is an outdoor 70 mph go-cart track

 

 

 

Mawgan Porth is situated on the North Cornwall coastal road between Padstow and Newquay.

Facilities in Mawgan Porth include:

  • The MerryMoor public house

  • The Riviera Lodge public house.

  • Fish & chip shop

  • Kings Pizza & Ice-cream Parlour

  • Betty’s newsagent & beach shop

  • Beach café.

 

 

 

Padstow is 8 miles up the coast with Bedruthan Steps, Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Constantine, Harlyn and Trevone beaches along the way.

Newquay, which has five beaches of it’s own, is six miles down the coast with Watergate Bay and Porth Beach en route.

Mawgan Porth is on the Newquay to Padstow bus route and is 2 miles from Newquay Airport.

A deposit is required of £15 per person when booking.  Full payment is required upon arrival.

The premises are not licensed.  All rooms are non-smoking.
